To provide disadvantaged children with the opportunity to live on par with other children, and to   help them to grow into good, productive citizens.

To care for the aged, elderly people who need love, attention, support and care, giving them a   way to live a dignified life.

To work for the handicapped poor by providing education, shelter, and training to make their   lives meaningful.

To work for the social and economic improvement of women living below the poverty line   through empowerment training, awareness programmes, and income-generating projects.

To provide good and reliable medical, dental and eye-care services and education to the poor   and to those living in remote villages.

To create global awareness of the issues of poverty, disability and women by providing   international students and teachers with a “working laboratory” in south India, where they can   conduct research, field study, and prepare reports for their home country.

To create an environmental awareness through programmes that teach villagers to plant and   care for trees and other greenery.

To reintroduce local ancestral use of herbs for health and beauty by the creation of farming   projects with women and children.
